What I liked

The poetry was amazing and powerful. The way it was thread organically into the piece was impressive. I loved the diversity of voices. The positive message and the interaction with the cast was all so hopeful. The costumes were great too!

What I didn't like

I felt at the beginning when #tagging with the droids that some of the cast seemed nervous and I wasn’t completely suspending my disbelief or believing them. Once it kicked into to the actual play and when those same individuals did their performative pieces, I was totally in the moment, blown away, believed them and in them. They were amazing as their more authentic selfs as opposed to their “acting” droids.

My overall impression

I loved the show! It was inspiring, powerful, funny emotional…not to sound cliche but I laughed, I cried, I had deep thoughts and I was inspired to go home and write a poem.
