What I liked
Loved the way it opened with the monologues and breaking the 4th wall to make the audience feel little uneasy I watching this story. Also loved when the actors spoke/made noise in unison to really amplify the sound and fit the themes of them sharing the same story.
What I didn't like
I want more of everything. Know this was a smaller production but I was left wanting more story, more actors (and their backgrounds), and more props/stage effects. So not necessary a bad thing but something I’m looking forward to as this direct/actors progress in their careers.
My overall impression
Overall a great show. Pretty amazing the story that was able to be told in just 30 min. The actors were surprisingly very strong in their roles and brought it to life with their stage positioning and use of stage sounds. It told a strong story that made me both slightly uncomfortable (in a good way) and also inspired to learn more about communities outside my own.
