I was on the front row last night for the Annie Sprinkles Project. Sophia showed up and showed out! Watching her embody each character was an exercise in “actor-multiple-personalities “ she embodied so many people it was hard to catch up with her jubilant joyful energy. I will admit I covered my eyes when she inserted…but I knew it was for the sake of her art and after all her mother was there and she had no problem with it, I think 🤔? @Sophia LaPaglia thank you for that amazing theater ride. You are a natural genius...

I learned so much about this incredible figure I didn't know about before. I laughed! I cried! I left feeling truly inspired. As someone also doing a Fringe show that heavily discusses/portrays sex, I felt grateful. Grateful that someone was bold enough to fully own their body and queer, kinky, feminist sexuality back in 1991, paving the way for so many other shows to step into that arena and more safely tell their stories. And grateful that Sophia crafted this fun and impactful show which gave me the opportunity to learn about Annie and her work. ...
