I actually am a puppeteer. I loved that TNacho didn’t obsess over the puppeteering details. I loved the long pauses, watching the puppet’s dead eyes shake, as TNacho’s hands shook. It made the puppets vulnerable and more impactful.
The songs and dance moments were perfect. I felt I was in a Yo Gabba Gabba meets Pee Wee show. And that’s a great place to be.
What I didn't like
TNacho, ground your feet. There was a lot of pacing back and forth and that can get tiring or uncomfortable. You know what you’re saying. Your voice is powerful, stand there and tell us!
My overall impression
What an authentic, refreshing theatre experience. We need more TNacho’s in this world to remind us of all that is beautiful and positive.
