What I liked
Upon reaching a particular checkpoint along the course, you may visit Bob’s Skate Shop. Here, Tanuki can purchase new board components, apparel, and accessories. Additionally, he can play the arcade game and occasionally call his talkative mother. Players must frequently drift, attempt to gain airtime, and avoid cars and other obstacles. Keep your raccoon close to the walls and edges to maximize your score by obtaining tight squeezes. As you go downhill in this third-person game, you can appreciate the stunning visuals and outstanding soundtrack!
Bug
Occasionally, the music stops, leaving the sound effects to fill the uncomfortable silence. The game’s soundtrack is calming, energizing, and perfectly suited to the game’s style. However, this seems to be a rare glitch or bug that is still worth mentioning. It felt as if a substantial portion of the experience had been lost when those songs were cut short.
Skating on the skybound highways of tanuki sunset is quite difficult. Beginners learn how to use the analog stick to control Tanuki’s speed, navigate the board, and collect money for later use. However, when it is time to drift, the first significant obstacle will present itself. This game’s drifting is best described as “sharp,” as it appears that Tanuki could make a complete U-Turn as soon as the drift begins. Players must learn how to drift correctly by falling repeatedly into the neon abyss.
What I didn't like
If you want to increase your chances of earning points, perform as many jumps and tricks as possible.
My overall impression
Tanuki Sunset is an extremely cool third-person longboard game.
