"Shubop" serves as a prequel to the playwright's previous musical "No Matter Watt." The cast delivered powerhouse vocals and routines. Gordon's introductory monologue provided meaningful context around the plot. It was touching. I hope to see the full work combining both parts of this story. The songs and spectacle make it well worth seeing. With a bit more substance between the pieces, it could be truly exceptional. Even so, I'd recommend catching this production.... full review
