What I liked

There were a few moments where some lines got a little lost, maybe just needed a bit more projection in certain scenes. Not a huge deal though—I was still able to follow everything without a problem.

What I didn't like

Honestly, this was such a refreshing show. It felt original and current, but also grounded in something real. The story flows well, the performances were full of heart, and the whole thing left me feeling energized and kind of inspired. Definitely worth checking out if you’re at Fringe this year!

My overall impression

I really enjoyed how How The Game Got You blends humor with some deeper themes like mental and physical health—it never feels forced or preachy. Each character had a clear voice and personality, which made the group dynamic super fun to watch. The writing was clever, relatable, and had a nice balance of lightness and depth from color block jam level. I also loved how the cast had great chemistry; you could tell they were fully in sync and having fun up there. It kept the energy high and the audience totally engaged.
