Four scenes each with a different perspective of how folks might behave if they knew their demise was imminent. It was so fun and probably truthful how so many of the characters tried to cling to banal normalcy. The play raises morale questions about priorities and selfishness during impending doom. New friendships are formed. Tight families separate. There are many fun, playful moments, but there is an ever present melancholy, as there would be. This isn’t a silly sketch show, it’s a well crafted study of heartfelt, but primal insecurity and desperation.
What I didn't like
Can’t believe there is only three performances. Only two more? The Fringe needs to see more of this play!
My overall impression
Terrific acting, terrific writing, and a terrible day for earth converge to create one of the best shows at Fringe this year.
