I liked the authentic expression mixed with poetic language and music that revealed the colors of us. The weaving out of characters to reveal their truths while encountering his own through their eyes looking into him. He took care of his child self and the Beings surrounding him not yet telling their own story.
What I didn't like
I love when you speak to the audience and when you do, always make it specifically to that person, this allows for the story to never become general in moments when it can pierce with directness to a heart.
My overall impression
I am always looking to discover more of myself in the art that I experience. Searching for the nuance of the depth of my soul that exists in the silence, to feel less alone in this world. Black Bastard spoke to the boy in me that needed to be seen and heard. It mirrored back to me the man that I am and the Being that I’ve always been. Great poetic expression of coming home to self. I am grateful.
