What I liked
Jon gave such an honest performance and did a great job of embodying all the characters that are part of this story (which were a lot! How did he do it!?!??!). This piece had a lot of different colors to it emotionally, and lots of laughs as well, but it was also very grounded and real.
What I didn't like
A couple of sound/music cues took me out of the story, especially the “reading rainbow” segment. It of course made me laugh, but I also didn’t find some of the tech cues to be totally necessary.
My overall impression
My favorite show of Hollywood Fringe so far! Jon is an absolute powerhouse!!!!
