What I liked
All of the people Jon played through his life were expressive and thoughtfully described, it’s as if you came away having met them yourself. I love that through each stage you could see the change from 2 years old through to adult through the acting and storytelling. It really made you feel like you were seeing him at that stage of life. Overall I loved that he made the audience laugh. I look forward to seeing more of his work.

My overall impression
A really wonderful performance from Jon Gentry. His performance was a masterclass in storytelling, blending humor with moments of genuine emotion as we moved through the phases of his early life. The way he wove his personal experiences with universal themes of love, loss, and the joys and sadness of everyday life were moving throughout. Loved it.
