What I liked
I ran into the cast as they were grabbing some food about 45 minutes before the show — they were so excited that I had heard of their show and that I was going to the show.
Infectious positive energy which clearly translated to the performance
Strong singing, individual dancing and “boy band dancing” (there’s a difference!) along with great songs and heartfelt dialogue
Great lighting that matched the songs especially the song where Justin Timberlake appears to sing out to the audience for that “special girl”…and some others :)
The Angel (no spoilers) was a standout solo song that made fun of everything that the angel’s persona was into in real life. There were some very subtle touches in costuming (underwear) as well that was NEVER called out specifically…but was there for the true fans of “the angel’s” body of work :)
What I didn't like
Nothing really — it was heartfelt, flowed well and had no obvious (or even subtle) flaws in any areas
My overall impression
A Christmas Carol meets…NSync!
Delightful send up of everything NSync — catching tunes from the opening number and funny dialogue make this show a winner
