What I liked
The story was fun and the music was catchy. I loved the use of an all-female and non-binary cast to portray the boy band members. I was also very amused by the unexpected Christmas ghost of 90s celebrities past.
What I didn't like
The only thing I might suggest is lavalier microphones to amplify the actors’ lovely voices as they were sometimes on the quieter side.
My overall impression
ChrisKirkpatrickmas is a fun frolic through late 90s boy band memories combined with the Christmastime nostalgia of “It’s a Wonderful Life” and the exuberant joy of musicals.
It’s a show with a lot of heart that gently pokes fun at celebrity culture and subverts expectations.
