What I liked
I was so in love with the way these two performers acted alongside each other while also being fully engaged with the audience. The narration aspect, the flashbacks/inner monologue all being done right before us and in scene seamlessly. And the HUMOR, I truly felt so much joy while simultaneously feeling outraged as I watched these characters navigate a difficult scenario the best way they know how to.
What I didn't like
I don’t imagine any improvement at all aside from bringing this story to the masses! Give us that feature film!
My overall impression
I was stunned! Left without words in the best way! I couldn’t believe I left a show with the word “abortion” in the title feeling so happy?? It was full of laughs while also being heavy hitting and educational. It felt like a revelation, like if more eyes were on this performance alone, there would be so much more understanding, so much more fire and desire into making a difference. They taught and told me about this serious topic in a way that eased me into the pain but didn’t refrain from the truth. Not only am I seeing it more than once, but I’m telling everyone I can as well!
