What I liked

The impressions were incredible – such range and transformation within each of the actors to portray a plethora of characters. The set was so simple yet served the show so well. I loved how the audience was directly included in all of the show through the way the actors faced the fourth wall and let us into their conversations and personalities. It was so grounded in reality, both of the circumstances of the characters and the realities of the marginalized backgrounds from which they come from. The statistics were included with a delicate deliberation that left an impact.

My overall impression

This is by far the best show I have seen at Fringe this year!!! And so timely, really reclaiming the narrative in our time when the power is constantly being taken away from women, especially WOC, when it comes to control over our body. Such incredible storytelling through a mix of performance styles, incorporating character sketch impressions, poetry, prose, rap, dance, and conventional theatre dialogue. It was like a brilliant SNL skit that really made you laugh and cry like crazy!
