“Locale” is an immersive theater play that takes place at your local bar, where everybody knows your name ;)
From the moment you check in with the bouncer and step through the door, you become an integral part of the thread that unravels the stories of the locals around you.
At times, “Locale” will feel like a high energy fever dream with an eclectic group of misfits who have finally found a place to call Home. But lurking underneath the endorphins of that sweet boozy buzz are dark shadows and secrets that only get bolder as liquid courage greases the wheels on this high speed freight train.
Through a series of one-on-one interactions paired with moments of sandbox-style exploration, audience members may even get the chance to make choices that actively impact the trajectory of the story.
TICKETING
As an audience member, you have two options for ticketing/participation:
- BAR REGULAR – a limited number of Premium Tickets will be available that offer audience members the opportunity to have an active role in the story. This is our most immersive ticket and participation is required.
(There are two track options – A or B)
- VOYEUR – General Admission Tickets are available for audience members who prefer to be a fly on the wall. There will be some opportunities to engage if you choose, but participation is not required.
ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS
- Ticket holders must be 21+ to enter and show a valid ID at time of entry. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- All participants will need to present PROOF OF VACCINATION against COVID-19 or a negative COVID-19 test (within 72 hours) before entrance.
- We will be abiding by all current LA County mandates and require you to wear a mask while indoors. Please respect our actors and fellow audience members by properly wearing a mask when not consuming beverages. Those found to be repeatedly ignoring the rules will be asked to leave with no refund provided.
WARNINGS AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- This show involves the use of FLASHING LIGHTS and LOUD MUSIC that may be sensitive to some audience members.
- CONTENT & TRIGGER WARNINGS: Some subject matter may be sensitive or triggering for some audience members. These topics may include (but are not limited to): alcoholism, consent, sexual violence, gender identity, racial discrimination, cultural tolerance, LGBTQ+ themes, mental illness and more. - SAFEWORD: If at any moment during the show you wish to leave the experience, you may either alert the BOUNCER or repeat the provided SAFEWORD three times. You will then be escorted out, no refunds provided.
