What I liked
The cast seriously blew me away. The pace was great, perfectly walking the tightrope between deep feeling & belly laughs without missing a step.
What I didn't like
I wished at times that the accompanist was louder. In a few rare moments the cast seemed to falter finding their pitch, which I attribute to momentarily not being able to hear the piano. We refuse to laugh & applaud quieter, ok??
My overall impression
A joyful, life-affirming show! Catchy, emotionally rich, relatable songs, brought to life by a stellar cast.
