What I liked
The cast was a delight and the songs were great. Even if you can’t see it live I recommend checking out the songs online, you can follow the plot pretty well and the arrangements are great.
What I didn't like
I wanted it to be bigger, and longer! I think there could’ve been a bit more narrative thread between certain songs to get the story from point A to B, specifically before the song “Why Aren’t You Happy?,” which is my favorite number and I think one of the most important songs in the play.
My overall impression
I loved it! Fun, catchy songs with a heartfelt message. Relevant to the changes and challenges our society is going through as we discuss issues like gender identity, sexual orientation, and marginalized representation.
