Grief is an inconsolable emotion. I realized this watching Colin's show last night. It creates an uncrossable chasm between the sufferer and the rest of the world. I've been the world and the sufferer in this life and I felt like Colin's beautiful story telling creates a bridge between the two experiences by creating a space for grief's expression and allowing us to witness it.
