The songs are really catchy and I love the female empowerment, especially today.
What I didn't like
It was a little confusing as to why the Rockstar was involved with the birth control ring. Was it purely to back females and support the movement or did she have a deeper connection to the derby? If so, that would make her betrayal at the end even deeper.
Also, there is a song between the cousin and the coach, while cute, is unnecessary and adds nothing to the story. Maybe their storyline could be expanded a little since they are both fun characters!
My overall impression
I really enjoyed this show! The concept is really inspiring and I loved the songs. The actress who plays Betty and the actor who plays the Rockstar’s Husband/Manager are both incredible. I think this show could be expanded and go to a much bigger stage.
