What I liked
From the bouncy opening to the triumphant finale, this musical moved along. I was captivated by the characters and story. Sheds light on the little-known world of the tough, rollicking derby women of the 1960s – and what it takes for one woman to break free of the strong social norms of the day. Inventive and captivating, this show was a delight from beginning to end.
What I didn't like
The only improvement I could imagine was the addition of full sets and choreography when this show moves up to a full post-Fringe production.
My overall impression
Exuberant, bouncy, heartwarming musical with memorable characters, unique story and great music. Totally enjoyable!
