What I liked
I am a fan of all female roller derby so I enjoyed that aspect of the story, as well as dealing with LGBT issues in the repressive 1960’s (which, sadly, resonates with what is going on today) There are some really good performances, some good songs…one duet was particularly impressive.
What I didn't like
I thought some of the details about how roller derby works and teams are staffed was not accurate….but then this was supposed to be about the 1960s so maybe stuff was done differently back then. But these are minor issues.
My overall impression
Fun show, good cast, and some great songs.
