I have never seen a performer put an entire crowd at ease so quickly and deftly. Natasha’s ability to connect with an audience as a whole and on an individual level was powerful enough to have all of us post-pandemic-anxiety ridden folks yipping like coyotes and leaning forward in our seats.
What I didn't like
I have no words of critique, only excitement to see what more can be done with greater resources. But even still, the show as is has a distinct charm to it.
My overall impression
Tree was a masterful example of modern clowning. I left feeling equal parts silly and reflective. The performance and writing were so strong and so perfectly attuned to one another.
