Mary Lee gave us a wonderful performance, thoroughly entertaining with lots of laughs and a few tears. As a dad, we always wonder how were our efforts received and how did our offspring turn out once we can no longer observe them. The variety of characters who were on et, all played by writer/star Mary Lee, were distinct and each had their own voice, body language, and personality. This was a great way to spend Sunday afternoon, or any other time. See Diary, before it goes back on the shelf.... full review

What a beautiful story of a relationship between a daughter and father. I was absolutely Gobsmacked towards the end. Totally did not see that coming. My heart ached for MaryLee. I could feel her father desperately wanting to ease her pain from beyond. ... full review

The show is so genuine. You truly get a sense of how much MaryLee's father meant to her. It was captivating to see MaryLee battle with writer's block only to discover the real battle is with her grief and guilt.... full review

Mary Lee gracefully moves on the stage telling us the most intimate and hilarious stories and her journey to becoming a writer. More importantly she tells the story of the love from her dad and how to release guilt and learn forgiveness. I laughed, I cried, I was moved. A very touching journey from a fantastic writer and actress.... full review

Schmaltzy & Prince was an ABSOLUTE treat! Just as the artist intended to do; to make the audiences laugh, cry, connect, relate, and everything in between, literally. MaryLee was so raw and vulnerable in her writing and her performance, the audiences were taken through a theatrical journey of her insecurities, guilt, deepest fears, the overcoming of these fears, inspirations, then came the determined aspirations. For artists and audiences going through the same fear of criticism, rejection, or fear of being vulnerable and putting ourselves out there, this show will hit you to the core. MaryLee is a talented writer and actor. This show was truly an inspiration and a must see!... full review
