What I liked

Loved the characters and the flawless transitions. The scene at her dad’s house with the swiffer still cracks me up. But I think what I loved the most were the tender moments and there were so many. MaryLee’s relationship with her father and the reveal at the end had me in tears. This was a beautifully written play and even better acted with excellent direction! Bravo to a great artist who’s got so many other stories to tell and the world will be better for it.

My overall impression

A great performer and writer who knew how to create great characters while also keeping each character very grounded and real. This is not an easy task for a solo performer but it was one of MaryLee’s strengths!
