ExMen: Not About Superheroes, pt. 1, was originally performed in the Rochester Fringe Festival in 2019 downtown at Java’s Cafe. Three years later, Abby is back with the second installment, part 1’s less naive, more witty older sister. Combining her own personal stories, revelations, unsolicited advice, and favorite musical therapists, Abby will connect with people falling in love for the first time and people just like her, who are moving on and over the drama. There’s a reason why artists like Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo have us all in the palm of their hands: everyone has an ex.
Ditching the musical theatre songs and sad, sad ballads of her past, Abby is excited to bring an energetic, funny, relatable show all the way to the west coast for her Los Angeles debut.
ExMen, pt. 2, will also be performed at the Denver Fringe Festival at the end of June 2022.
