What I liked
LThe magic! Often I feel that stage magic is more interested in fooling the audience than captivating them. Larry’s use of magic in his show did not fall into the trap. All of the magic in the show was purposeful and story-driven.
What I didn't like
The preview I saw went a bit long, but I expect that it will probably be tightened up in the future performances.
My overall impression
This show was delightful! I was really captivated by Larry’s use of magic as a storytelling device. His characters were bold and unexpected, and I found the slightly nonlinear way in which he told his story oddly captivating.
