What I liked

I liked that all four characters had very intelligent dialogue…pretty fairly distributed amongst the four. Everyone had their moments to shine! And it was nice to hear female characters that weren’t afraid to be vulgar/harsh/venomous (but not all the time).

Each actor was very well cast in their role!

I love Tarantino films, and this felt like a female version…without the superfluous extra gangsters.

Good on the writer/director to set this story in Philadelphia as well; the City of Brotherly Love doesn’t often get the crime heist treatment in theatre or film.

What I didn't like

There were a few monologues that did seem to go on a pinch too long…but the cast sold them.

And the F-bombs sometimes teetered on being a crutch for sounding edgy, but thankfully these women also spoke intelligently

There was a particular moment toward the end that could’ve used some more visceral sound design, but it didn’t take me out of the play.

My overall impression

A great throwback to Tarantino’s Reservoir Dogs! All four young women were wonderfully cast in their roles. Tight snappy dialogue that’s also very timely. Well written and well-distributed amongst the lady gang. Feels more like a film than a play!
