What I liked
Everything! The technical aspects of the show were astounding. I don’t want to give anything away, but the action sequences were extremely well choreographed. The writing was so natural and yet heightened in all the right places to create an effective and entertaining drama.
What I didn't like
I can’t think of a single thing. There should be a line wrapped around the block trying to get into the theatre.
My overall impression
This show was absolutely fantastic! From the sharp writing, to the incredible acting, to the confident and assured direction, Meeting Across the River is an all-around thrilling and enthralling piece of theatre that definitely pushes the art form forward. I was on the edge of my seat the entire play. Chris Haas is a unique and invigorating artist, a definite playwright to watch.
