What I liked

The use of the towel to convey the most intimate aspects of his sex life. Starting the show with THAT experience first. Yep, all the right ingredients to make a straight guy squirm at all the right times.

An endearing honesty and a chance to get closer to a very hard working and focused man. Great narrative and a hopefully happy ever after one day.

What I didn't like

The format of using the benches and nothing else worked fine. George’s lack of the kinds of projections and images many use was a great idea. Theatre, stand up and confession. I do not see any improvements needed.

My overall impression

Perfectly executed true life confessions from a very brave man. Many things that many people would be very shy about, George Steeves told us about in his unique one man show without any template in his being an out gay and autistic man. Ever heard of another show like that. He took me through a world I’ve never known but seen a lot of via media, being British. The experience of being a Gay Aspie was unknown until George wrote history.
