What I liked

I was happy to see her doing her best to be true to herself – sink or swim.

What I didn't like

But Charley – I can tell you love singing and dancing, but you really do need your next step to be taking voice lessons. Sorry to say she was so off-key, it was difficult to listen to her constantly singing about her life, as cute as the song parodies were.

My overall impression

It’s great to see just a normal person trying to make the best of her life. I guess I was expecting more of her life’s journey as a nurse, but all she did was talk about what a prison it has been to her. While her journey to self-discovery was a bit of a mishmash of characters and stories, mostly heartbreaking ones at that, this solo show seemed a bit under-prepared.
