What I liked
Being mixed race myself, I could really relate to Mike’s story while also being provoked to realize the ways in which I have fretted over my own identity that I was not even aware of (while laughing about it). Also as a long time Harry Potter fanatic his hot take on HP had me shook.
What I didn't like
Sorry can’t think of anything! Longer? More Mike Lane? Take your shirt off?
My overall impression
I found Mike’s performance to be honest, brave and moving. I wasn’t expecting such personal depth to be shared and I laughed through feelings of empathy and sadness, inspired self reflection…and just plain sweet goofiness.
