With little set dressing and mundane costumes, the performers talents shine. Whether it is dialect or physical comedy, the casts bring their best to the stage.
What I didn't like
This is a personal preference, but I would have liked to see more clearly the darkness lurking behind the absurdity.
My overall impression
This play embraced the absurdity of Durang with open arms. The subtle disquieting energy of the script finds its voice in moments of chaotic silliness. Moments of reality sneak through on the backs of the performers talent, while the untrained eye might only see camp. Over all, a perfect choice for the world we find ourselves in, with no real idea of what may come next.
