I’ve seen the show twice now and what I really liked was the improv bits because it makes the show fresh and new each time you see it. Also, upon repeat viewing I was able to get an even better sense of the characters because they reveal themselves in new ways each performance while maintaining the overall through-line of the story.
What I didn't like
The first time I saw the show was live, which is of course the best way to see theatre. The second time I streamed the performance and noticed that on the livestream it can be difficult to see the projections happening on the back wall so the online audience may be missing pieces of the mise-en-scène.
My overall impression
I thought tribe was wonderful. The cast was hilarious. The story was heartwarming served as a great reminder that diversity and collaboration is our greatest strength.
