Tatum is a fantastic actress, but I felt her emotions were all real. She was telling her story from her heart. The acting came through when portraying the alter-egos and the other characters who played a role in her story, but her emotion was real.
She was also fair to the other people throughout the story and honest about her relationship with God, which I feel is very rare in Hollywood. She is not ashamed of the fire she had to walk through and portrayed that well.
What I didn't like
I’m not sure it could be improved upon. I watched the show virtually and there were a few shots that were blurry, but that is just part of being a virtual observer.
My overall impression
I thoroughly enjoyed Tatum’s performance. It was real and raw and wonderful. It’s refreshing to hear a story that is heartbreaking, but ends up hopeful. I needed to hear a story with a happy ending.
