My overall impression
Tatum does a great job of not only bringing the characters of her past to life but also embodying the facets of her own personality that play tug of war on her soul. You can tell that a career’s worth of introspection, turmoil, and forgiveness has gone into the creation of this whimsical yet heart-expressed production. The shrouded inner-work that most of us ignore out of the fear that we will surely find ourselves bound to an endless Sisyphean loop of guilt and punishment is transcended and made more accessible just by proxy of witnessing Tatum’s sympathetic retelling of her own personal journey.
