We are a complicated society, now more than ever and this play attempts to touch every aspect of that.
What I didn't like
The show opens with a history of Waiting for Lefty which was helpful to those who don’t know the reference but more explanation than the audience needs.
My overall impression
Following the format of Lefty, the play is told through vignettes each capturing a social/economic/political/moral choice we are facing today as a society. Tightly written and beautifully staged. This was an hour that asks the audience to think and not immediately assume the opinions or beliefs of anyone based on gender, sexual orientation, political party, status, or ethnicity.
