What I liked
The writing!!! Love how everything connected under one theme: “Still waiting for a change that isn’t coming.” The actors were fully committed to their roles and we could all empathize with at least one of the vignettes. This is truly the way we need to be talking about current affairs.
What I didn't like
Only thing I’d change is to warn audience members there’s cigar smoke in one scene for those like me who are sensitive to smoke
My overall impression
This show is EXCELLENT! Phenomenal writing and movement. Love that it’s told through smaller, more intimate stories that all come together. It’s a poignant take on our current events and it’s done in a way that is elevated and intelligent. Highly recommend!!! If you only have time for a few shows this year, make this one of them. I am thrilled that my first experience back in the theater post pandemic was truly a masterpiece.
