I thought there were a number of nice moments with the actors throughout. Their were some really nice casting pairings that led to the scenes really popping at times. The Senator restaurant scene was a standout for me.
What I didn't like
There were a couple of technical acting things (stage positioning mostly) that I’m sure will be ironed out being that we’re early stages. There are a couple of scenes that could utilize the stage a bit more to help communicate the actors need in a more effective way. The last moment before the curtain call was a bit foggy for me.
My overall impression
The play tackles the need for a modern retelling of the themes highlighted in the original Waiting for Lefty.
