Not to spoil anything, but—my favorite character was definitely Prozac. Bethany’s ability to turn on the personality of a bubbly, almost maniacal drug was hilarious and polished. The writing was witty and the character was a sharp contrast from the real Bethany which made it all the more entertaining to watch.
What I didn't like
I don’t think there was anything that didn’t work. If I had an improvement suggestion it would be for the images on the background slideshow to be sharper (but this is more on the technical end) because they were funny but not as crisp as Bethany’s performance. It might also help to have them come on suddenly, rather than fading in so that the audience is caught off guard.
My overall impression
Bethany Vee is a powerhouse performer! I Have Too Many Feelings takes the audience on a wild ride through the totally hilarious and surprisingly poignant moments of Bethany’s life and doesn’t let up for a second. Bethany’s ability to connect on a human level is what drives this performance and enables the audience to laugh and relate simultaneously. Excellent show!
