What I liked
Jo’s energy is awesome, and she just puts it all out on the table so directly, so honestly and so entertainingly. I’m gonna try to go back for another dip into Jo’s world. I love how she uses the space and the vignette aspects to the storytelling are fab.
What I didn't like
The sound was a bit lower than I would’ve liked, especially considering how full of energy the evening was. The sound felt subdued in contrast. The lighting felt a bit rough as well, like too many dark patches, though it’s probably really tricky to land in those spots where the light lands.
My overall impression
What a wonderful show! Full of energy, humor and real heartbreak.
