What a ride! In a series of vignettes, chronologically time stamped as she ages, we get a glimpse into the life of a woman who's passion and capacity for love has provided a rollercoaster of a life. While it hasn't gone according to plan, Jo has done what she can to make the best of it and find peace with where she is. Very enjoyable, recommend for all!... full review

Jo Dellapina takes us on a journey from a innocent, wide-eyed child who is a little boy crazy into a journey of aging, love, self-discovery, disillusionment, and ultimately strength, resilience and hope. I found her performance incredibly relatable and intimate, often laugh-out-loud funny, and heartbreaking. She is so generous with herself and her talent shines. It's not easy doing a one-woman show, but she gives so much of herself and it is so REAL that you can't help getting totally immersed. I highly recommend this show and this experience. I completely loved it.... full review

The title Boy Crazy Psycho Slut did give me the wrong impression, but maybe that was me. Images of some rebellious woman trapped in her teen image and growing into adulthood long after her being able to vote or legally drink came to mind, shades of Joan Jett, P!nk, Wendy Williams, etc. What I got was different, and I am not complaining even a tiny bit.... full review

This was a phenomenal show. It takes serious gumption to come out in front of a full house solo and kill it. Jo Dellapina bares her heart and soul and somehow pulled it off. She balances gut-wrenching heartbreak with laugh out loud moments. She held my attention for the full hour plus performance, not an easy task in the modern world. This was a brutally honest look at the damage done to one woman (and likely all women) by society and worse, her own mother. The finale crystalized the choice she ultimately had to face. Wait long enough and it will all turn out wonderful (yeah, nice fantasy) or wallow in deserved self-pity (the choice many make). Jo took the middle ground. Work through your shit, accept the role others play in tearing... full review
