What I liked
Laughed every time Kevin used the google search engine! Genius idea, haven’t seen anything like it! I absolutely love how he portrays his inner demons/voices with The Lion King characters, this really touches on the inner child that seeks peace, comfort, and security. At least for me, I interpreted it this way, fighting and embracing these inevitable obstacles of our life journey. The inner demons/voices in our heads constructed by society and our surroundings (people, events, places, etc.). I was also impressed by the numerous characters Kevin played with such agility and mastery. I could really grasp the emotions and my attention was 100% there.

My overall impression
I was blown away!! My friend and I couldn’t stop talking about Kevin’s solo performance on the drive back home. I will not stop thinking about this show for a long, long, time since it really empowers not only the performer but his audience. This is a perfect representation of embracing your vulnerabilities. Vulnerabilities consisting fears, the rawness of his struggles and how he constantly paced back and forth with his inner demons which only goes to show how human and real he is. I love the authenticity of Kevin’s performance, it’s very humane in so many ways, everyone needs to see this!
