I loved the performance of Paxton! The sassy, sexy, and super mean had me sold. Also can we acknowledge the fact she belted while being carried across stage? Can we also forget the comedic amazement of Hudson?! I was laughing from the second he stumbled down the steps. AURORAS PIPES. I don’t know who this girl is, but she has the triple threat quality of Broadway. How dare she honestly. Simon, Simon, Simon your solo had me crying. So awkward and funny, really sold it.
And of course none of this would be possible by the AMAZING MUSIC, and STORY. Loved the satire, and jazzy incorporations to it all.
What I didn't like
Music was over powering for such an intimate space.
My overall impression
My overall impression last night was wow. I felt robbed. In the best way possible. The show only allows you to see half of the journey of Aurora, Hudson, and the student of Galena High School. Made want to come back and see the next act.
