Authenticity: The Musical

Definitely a must see! Very well written and relatable. Found myself rooting for certain characters and bobbing my head to each musical segment. Movement was impressive and exciting given the size of the stage. Every actor was believable in their roles.... full review

Amazing! The story is so timely and so genuine. Johnny Cassidy did a great job writing and producing this musical. Giancarlo Garritano was incredible as professor Starlson, and his vocals were outstanding! Michael Van Bogedom Smith’s score with additional lyrics and music by Giancarlo Garritano are memorable and singable. BRAVO to the Hussian College Los Angeles In Studio grads, the AMDA grads, and the entire cast and crew who participated in this show! WOW! As a former high school theatre arts teacher, I am amazed at the wonderful talent and true-to-life story taking place in this world premiere production. It always amazes me when I am out in public how people are always on their phones and don't speak to each other in real time. And that's not just teens but adults as well. This musical deals with that issue; kids trying to be who they think they want others to see them as rather than being honest about who they really are and their real feelings and problems. The two leads, Norman Thatch as Hudson and Erika Cruz as Aurora (who pretends to be Terri online) take you inside their hearts and souls as they attempt to deal with their judgmental friends while attempting to be authentic with e... full review

My overall impression last night was wow. I felt robbed. In the best way possible. The show only allows you to see half of the journey of Aurora, Hudson, and the student of Galena High School. Made want to come back and see the next act.... full review
