What I liked

The first half of this one-hour online show started with a fascinating exploration of a typographic invention. Anchoring ideas to a visual character, the artist Ben Nicholson riffs on expressions, and histories of how time, and labor are structured under capitalism. I loved that after the first phase there was a camp-y yet moving musical interlude. This was a nice pause. Then the experience switched to include a second narrator who I enjoyed, along with invocations and audience participation.

What I didn't like

I loved it! I am curious about what this experience would be like as an in-person play (with projections and stage presence or?). Overall, this was great. I appreciate that there wasn’t too much pressure to ‘participate’ in the second half.

My overall impression

A twisting, turning, and engaging exploration of neoliberalism!
