My overall impression
This is not typically the kind of theatre I frequent nor would I say that I’m well-versed in the genre. However, I still really enjoyed the piece. I felt as though all three actors were consistent and committed- definitely the most talented of the five Fringe shows I’ve seen so far. Not only are they talented and experienced but they are committed to this difficult genre. “Urban Myths-Suburban Sluts” leaves you deconstructing the American landscape and what we call ‘popular culture’. It’s an invasive look into the lives that we lead and is not only well put together but fast paced.
