Love the strong female ensemble! I thought the actors who played Renee and Scottie were so much fun. Scottie’s comedic timing and character were great, and I loved Beth’s drunk scene. I liked the way the stage was used, with the set remaining the same throughout each scene, but still conveying different locations, and how the military personnel stayed on stage the whole time.
What I didn't like
I did get a bit lost with all the storylines towards the end, and was a bit confused who the casualty notification officer was talking to in the first scene when she was looking out to the audience.
My overall impression
I love that the story is told through the perspective of three women and the way it shed light on their experiences during the war. I appreciated the comedic undertones especially given the heavy topic.
