What I liked
I loved the theme—riffing on the story lines of 3 BIPOC playwrights. So creative! But a person doesn’t have to be familiar with those shows to be entertained because the MC/Director introduces and summarizes beautifully.
What I didn't like
A fun element to add would be slides of the playwrights and stills of their famous plays so that people not familiar with the artists can get a little taste. This would be icing on a very delicious night.
My overall impression
We have seen all three shows so far (including preview), and we plan on attending the final show. So much fun to watch this ensemble improv together. My kids and I loved the stories they created. We laughed A LOT!
