What I liked
Funny at times. It gave me something to look forward to watching at the end of the night. Very creative ZOOM style storyline.
What I didn't like
Script felt too rushed and pressured to run in a tight time frame. I didn’t like the fact that it completely makes nudists look like agenda pressing tyrannical bullies and the actors use of ‘in your face’ body movement was obviously exhibitionism.
It gave the ‘supposed’ naturists the stereotypical view that people already think of us.
1 step forward, 5 steps back. This is why we’ll never be accepted.
My overall impression
DISROBED had lots of problems as far as our goal of acceptance from the general public.
I didn’t really know what to expect as I am not familiar with the original story. I had heard it was funny and a parody of how any true naturist would be. However, it was presented as if pressuring a guy in too much of an extreme manner; into a septic shock of our culture and then bullying him in a far too demeaning way after they succeeded.
